Dr. Jane Fresne, DN
Recall the sublime sensation of burying your feet in the sand or inhaling a breath of crisp, clean air. We often find ourselves thriving when we align our choices with our inner selves, embracing paths that elicit fulfillment, excitement, and joy. In delving into our connection with the Earth, let's explore both the physical realm, governed by Newtonian physics, and the energetic realm, influenced by Quantum physics.
Consider that all the nourishment we consume originates from the Earth, whether from plants or animals that have grazed on vegetation. I often liken this process to a mother nourishing her unborn child. Additionally, the Earth's atmosphere provides the breath that sustains us day and night, while the fact that 60 percent of the human body is water underscores our dependence on Earth's resources. Despite this vital interconnection, we often perceive ourselves as separate entities.
This invisible bond allows us to navigate life without overt awareness. However, the soothing effect is palpable when we stand at the shore, gazing at the vast expanse of ocean and sky, or marveling at the beauty of a mountain cascade. Our minds relinquish the illusion of separation during sunrise and sunset, fostering a profound connection to nature. I envision the Earth as a receptive entity, inviting us to release our stress and tension to be processed and transformed.
Physically releasing surplus electromagnetic frequencies (EMF) from our bodies to the Earth is a straightforward process. Studies, such as those found here (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3265077/), illustrate the efficacy of standing on the ground with bare feet for 45 minutes in reducing EMF levels, as measured by an EMF meter. When circumstances prevent direct contact with the Earth, an indoor earthing mat can serve a similar purpose.
Take a moment, especially before sleep or after a stressful experience, to practice the tree breath (https://www.drjanefresne.com/tree-breath). This exercise encourages you to use your inner vision to connect with both the seen and unseen aspects of our Earthly bond. Experience your connection through intention, shifting your origin of experience from outside of yourself, such as seeking approval, to inside of yourself, focusing on what feels right for you.
Wishing you abundant blessings on your journey toward healing and wholeness.
